![]() I have 3 mic ports in the back of the pc ( "mic" black port, "l-out" with red port, "l-in" black port), 3 headphone ports (all black ports, "ss-out", "cs-out" and "rs-out") and 1 universal port on the top, black port no label. Unplugged and put into every single audio jack port. ![]() That stopped the volume slider issue, but no luck with the mic volume being detected. It never settled on a specific number, until I tried plugging it into the back of the PC where the motherboard would be. When plugging it into that port, I noticed that when turning up the mic's volume to 100 percent, the slider would jump around consistently down to 88, 91, 100, then back down over and over.
